You will need a Russian visa to enter the country. For visa requirements please contact your nearest Russian consulate or visit their website.
Depending on your country of residence it may take one to three weeks to get a visa.
You may need an invitation to get a tourist or business visa.
Good news: Nationals of 55 countries may be granted an electronic visa for upto 16 days to enter the Russian Federation. An e-visa is issued within 4 calendar days, including week-ends and bank holidays. There is no need for any invitations or confirmations. Just fill in the application form on the website. Please check this site for details: https://electronic-visa.kdmid.ru/index_en.html
When you apply for an invitation, please put Moscow or Krasnodar (or both) as places to visit - that should be enough for an invitation and upon arrival to Russia you can visit any other places without any limitation.
Visa and invitation fees are not included into the tour cost.
Important note: Upon arrival to Russia you will get a small piece of paper, stumped at customs (migration card) - see the picture below. Please keep it in your passport all the time - you will need it for registration.
