           Kumar: "Picture this. I started my painting journey back in high school when I received a mind-blowing gift of oil paints. It was pure joy, my friend. That's when I fell head over heels for the magic of oil painting. Fast forward to the late 90s, when I stumbled upon Vladimir Megre's mind-blowing "Ringing Cedars of Russia" series. Let me tell ya, those books hit me like a ton of spiritual bricks. I devoured 'em like there was no tomorrow. Then, in 2001, I unleashed my creative mojo and painted my very first masterpiece of Anastasia. She was chillin' on the shore of her majestic lake, with her son Volodya and a wild she-wolf on the other side. But, hey, I didn't take it too seriously at the time and just handed the painting over to some random acquaintance.

          It wasn't until 14 years later that I finally got serious about creating mind-bending artworks inspired by Megre's books. In 2015, Anastasia's cosmic words about the Image she birthed finding its own independent life through the creativity of readers hit me like a spiritual lightning bolt. I knew I had to contribute to that Image in any way possible. So, I started sharing snapshots of my artwork on my vKontakte page (that's a Russian social network, if you didn't know). And guess what? They caught fire among the legions of Vladimir Megre fans! Now, I ain't no fancy-pants professional artist, just like Vladimir Nikolaevich doesn't consider himself a professional writer. Nah, the true measure of my art lies in the hearts and minds of the people who dig it. If they appreciate my trippy creations, well, that's already a cosmic win in my book. And lemme tell ya, Vladimir Nikolaevich Megre himself was quick to shower me with praise when he laid eyes on my stuff. Plus, I've received a boatload of ecstatic feedback from folks who swear my paintings light up their souls. Man, that kind of love and support keeps my creative fire burning bright!
