Default of Russia - fact or fake?

         At the end of June 2022, Bloomberg announced that Russia was in default. Well, they lied, as usual. America actually forbade Russia to pay interest on dollar bonds, it is impossible to pay it in dollars now. The President of Russia issued a decree to pay it in Rubles, and Russia did pay it - there are accounts in Russia, you can withdraw money from them, convert them, do whatever you want. But... nobody does it. Because they need a propaganda effect, they need statements like: sanctions have just begun, and in Russia there is already a "default". And of course, they need a reason to steal our gold and foreign exchange reserves. Now, what consequences will this so-called "default" have for Russia? Yes, none! Russia does not need their loans, creditors and credit ratings. Therefore, there is no difference for us now. If you want to call it a default, go for it. Although in fact - it is not default.
