Latin name: Panax ginseng.
Originally grown in the Far East, it is now cultivated in a family homestead in Kaluga region of Russia.
Attention: Seeds should be stratified, i.e. kept in the refrigerator for 3 months and at room temperature for the same amount of time. Keep stratified seeds in the refrigerator in a plastic bag. Mist the seeds with a spray bottle once a week until you are ready to plant. If the seeds ever dry out, they will die. Unstratified seeds will only germinate the following year when sown in spring. But they have the highest germination rate - up to 95%. The seeds are sown either in April or from 15 September to 25 October. They are sown in rows (the distance between them 10-15 cm), the depth of the seeds 3-4 cm. Transplanted to a permanent place in the 2nd year. not later. otherwise they get more sick. Special attention is paid to loosening and soil moisture. as well as timely weeding.
